We need to continue this generational fight that spreads the belief that everyone has a right to exist and needs to be treated as an equal. It is a shame that in the 21st century there are still vast majorities of places on Earth where people are not treated as equals.
America has it squabbles over equality but at least we can usually have a civil discussion about equality, in other parts of the world the discussion usually ends with someone being dead.
I wonder how the Bush administration will react in the next 8 weeks and how the Obama administration will deal with terrorism even as much as Americans want to wish this generational war away the other side is not going to stop attacking the western way of life.
Obama statement seems to say the right things, I hope he follows through over the next 4 years.
