Congress needs to do more earmarking – Ron Paul is right

I know this is going against the current but after listening to Ron Paul. He makes total sense, congress people should be required to be very specific in the spending that they want. The vague appropriations is where all the waste and fraud occur.

CPSIA & Job Killing – Democrats seem not to care

As with all consumer protection laws, it sounds good at the start, then a vague law is passed by congress, some government bureaucrat makes a ruling, somebody disagrees and goes to a judge with a private lawsuit. Judge rules against government official and bans lots of items not intended by the original law. Democrats claim they care about people and jobs in public, then when something actually needs to be corrected, nothing happens while millions and millions of dollars of goods are thrown away destroying hundreds of businesses and charities along the way.

A correction would require admitting a mistake was made, this is the flaw in all elected officials now of both parties, they do not make mistakes. They only point out the mistakes of the other party, never their own.
